Monthly Plan Commission Board Meeting
Tuesday, October 4,2022

The October 4, 2022, meeting of the Town of York Plan Commission was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chair Bethany Storm. Storm verified that the meeting was legally posted on the townofyork.org website and at the York Town Hall. The meeting could also be joined via Zoom.

Roll call was taken by Brown. Members in attendance: Bethany Storm, Cynthia Brown, Arlo Paust, Dan Truttmann, and Aaron Gifford.

Minutes for the Tuesday September 6, 2022, Plan Commission Meeting were presented. Dan Truttmann made a motion to approve the minutes. Paust seconded. Motion carried.

Public Comment: None.

Business Items:

*Land Use and Related Ordinances: Discussions continue with the purpose of the land use and related ordinances to maintain the land use and which ordinances continue to benefit the town’s vision statement.

Truttmann states that he has had some discussions with the TOY attorney regarding the land use, zoning and the ordinances that are related to the land use. Some of the questions asked, Does Dane and Green County have different zoning laws? In relation to some of the closer towns, like Perry. What are some of the current lot sizes and zoning ordinances? Storm will continue to reach out to the Green County Zoning for data related to the ordinances. Maintaining the goals and vision to preserve unused farmland, open spaces, and our natural resources.

Truttmann moved to adjourn meeting at 8:32pm. Storm seconded. All approved
