Town Board Members

All Town Board officers are elected for a two-year term except the assessor and the clerk-treasurer who are appointed by the board.  The Town Board term of office expires in April of odd numbered years.

A caucus is held to nominate candidates for Town Board officers in January of odd numbered years.  No more than two candidates for any one officer position can be on the ballot for the Spring Election (held in April).

PUBLIC MEETINGS

York Town Board meets every second Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm at the Town Hall.

Any change in meeting dates and times are posted on the notice board located outside the York Town Hall and on this website.
