Plan Commission Minutes – July 2012

Aug 12, 2012 | Plan Commission Minutes

Town of York Plan Commission
July 3, 2012

The July meeting of the York Plan commission was called to order by Curt Moen, president at 8:05 P.M. Curt verified the meeting had been posted and roll call was taken. Those present were Curt Moen, Heidi Hankley, Brian Bubenzer, and Terri Nipple. The secretary’s report was read by Terri Nipple. Heidi made a motion to approve the minutes as read and the motion was seconded by Brian. The minutes were approved.

Heidi had provided a lengthy presentation at the June meeting regarding a plan she and her husband, Chip had devised to track parcel data. She indicated at this meeting that the plan is in “hold mode” until further discussion. Brian said the same regarding having someone from the University of Wisconsin do it for a stipend or university credit. Brian stated that if we had someone from the UW do it, the task must be clearly designed and structured. No new information was available from the Green County Board regarding the direction they are taking on Farmland Preservation. Tracking parcel data was tabled pending further information on the direction the Green County Board is taking on Farmland Preservation and direction from the Town of York Board, who would eventually need to provide financial support.

No new business was brought before the commission. We had no public comment. A motion was made by Heidi to adjourn, seconded by Brian. The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P.M. by president, Curt Moen.

Our next scheduled meeting will be August 7, 2012.

Respectfully Submitted,
Terri Nipple
