Dog Licenses
Town of York and Green County require residents to secure a dog license for each pet annually. In order to obtain the required dog tag, mail a check payable to the ‘Town of York’ along with a copy of the rabies vaccination and a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE). The rabies vaccination proof must include the following:
- Dog name
- Dog gender
- Indicate if dog has been altered (spayed/neutered)
- Vaccination manufacturer
- Vaccination Lot Number
- Date vaccination was given
- Date vaccination expires
- Veterinarian
2025 License Fees:

| Spayed / Neutered | $5.00 |
| Multi-dogs (more than 4 dogs up to 12 dogs) | $40.00 |
| Multi-dogs (more than 12 dogs) - each | $4.00 |
$10.00 per un-altered dog or $5.00 per dog if they are spayed or neutered.
$40.00 for Multi-dog licenses (up to 12 dogs), additional dogs over 12 are $4 per dog.
