Dog Licenses
(Pursuant to Section 174.052 Wis. Stats., notice is hereby given to all owners of dogs in Green County that rabies vaccinations and dog licenses are required under the Statutes.)Town of York and Green County require residents to secure a dog license for each pet annually. In order to obtain the required dog tag, mail a check payable to the ‘Town of York’ along with a copy of the rabies vaccination and a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE). The rabies vaccination proof must include the following:
- Dog name
- Dog gender
- Indicate if dog has been altered (spayed/neutered)
- Vaccination manufacturer
- Vaccination Lot Number
- Date vaccination was given
- Date vaccination expires
- Veterinarian
License Fees:

| Unaltered Male or Female | $10.00 |
| Spayed / Neutered | $5.00 |
| Multi-dogs (more than 4 dogs up to 12 dogs) | $40.00 |
| Multi-dogs (more than 12 dogs) - each | $4.00 |
$10.00 per un-altered dog or $5.00 per dog if they are spayed or neutered.
$40.00 for Multi-dog licenses (up to 12 dogs), additional dogs over 12 are $4 per dog.
