2014 Green County Ag Plastic Film Recycling Program
November 3 – 14, 2014
Weekdays from 7 A.M. – 3 P.M.

Recycle silage bags, bunker covers, and bale wrap for FREE! Green County Farmers will be able to bring their Ag plastic film to the Green County Landfill, W2002 County SS, Brodhead, WI 53520

How to Handle Ag Plastic Film for this Recycling Collection:

  • Shake the plastic film to remove large amounts of forage, soil or stones that have accumulated before storing it.
  • Extra care should be given to the bottom piece of silo bags. If it is too dirty, that section should be landfilled.
  • Cut the plastic into manageable sizes for storing and handling.
  • Secure the plastic film to keep and store it in a clean location until the recycling collection in November.

#4 Ag Plastics that WILL be Accepted:

  • Only Plastic firms from silo bags, bale wraps and bunker covers will be accepted for recycling.

Ag Plastics that will NOT be Accepted:

  • Plastic twine, mesh bale wraps, plastic jugs and other plastic containers will not be accepted.
