Regular Monthly Board Meeting
Tuesday, July 9, 2013
8:00 P.M.

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. Present were Chairman Dan Reeson, 1st Supervisor Dan Truttmann, 2nd Supervisor Steve Hermanson, Treasurer Ann Carlson, and Clerk Nancy Anderson. Verification of proper notice was given. Dan Truttmann move to approve the June, 2013 meeting minutes, Steve Hermanson 2nd. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report– Ann Carlson provided the Board with the monthly financial statements.

Bills– Nancy presented bills for the month. Wayne had bills from Eastside Farm Equipment (mower blades) $175.25, Truck Country (power steering filter) $35.09, and various materials from the Highway department. Dan Reeson move to approve bills, Steve Hermanson 2nd. Motion carried.

Patrolman’s Report– Wayne is having a problem with the Freightliner power steering. He has completed grading driveways, is currently spraying for weeds, and will need to begin mowing again.

Plan Commission– Dan Truttmann told the Board that Heidi and Chip Hankley still have a few parcel tracking issues to resolve. Steve Hermanson Land Division- Dan Reeson move to approve Steve Hermanson’s land division, Dan Truttmann 2nd. Motion carried. Steve Hermanson did not vote on the matter.

Public Comments– None.

Old Business

  1. Recycling Citations- Dan Truttmann is still researching the best way to issue citations. Nancy will call Pattie Salter from the Town of New Glarus to find out how they handle this matter.

New Business

  1. Landscaping Repairs- A few new shrubs will be purchased in the fall to replace those damaged by last year’s drought.
  2. Banking Information- Ann Carlson will postpone this matter until the September meeting.

Driveway Refund– Ron Zeman- Because plans to build a new home have been halted, Dan Reeson move to approve a full refund of $1800.00 to Ron Zeman, Dan Truttmann 2nd. Motion carried.

Adjournment– Dan Truttmann move to adjourn the meeting, Steve Hermanson 2nd. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:50 P.M.
