Regular Monthly Board Meeting
Tuesday, May 14, 2013

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. Present were Chairman Dan Reeson, 1st supervisor Dan Truttmann, 2nd Supervisor Steve Hermanson, Treasurer Ann Carlson, and Clerk Nancy Anderson. Verification of proper notice was given. Dan Truttmann move to approve the April minutes, Steve Hermanson 2nd. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report– Ann Carlson presented the financial reports for the Board to view.

Bills-Wayne presented bills for skid steer, sweeper, and trailer rental, Lakeside and a strobe light. Nancy also presented a list of current bills. Dan Reeson move to approve bills, Dan Truttmann 2nd. Motion carried.

Patrolman’s Report– Wayne is busy grading driveways and cold patching roads. The tractor needs four new tires. Wayne will get estimates.

Driveway Permits

  1. Brad/Cathy Bennett-(County A)- Dan Reeson move to approve a driveway permit for Brad Bennett, Dan Truttmann 2nd. Motion carried and $1800.00 collected.
  2. Ron Zeman (Gould Hill Rd.)- Dan Reeson move to approve a driveway permit for Ron Zeman, Steve Hermanson 2nd. Motion carried and $1800.00 collected.

Plan Commission– No report.

Public Comments

  1. Nancy read a thank you note from York Memorial Church for having kept their driveway accessible all winter.

    the road repairs for this year. Steve Hermanson move to spend $64,528.00 on town road repairs this year, Dan Truttmann 2nd. Motion carried.

  2. Summer Recycling Dates- The dates will be from Wednesday, May 29 to Wednesday, September 4th.
  3. Recycling Ordinance Citations– Nancy has written quite a few reprimand letters to citizens not sorting recyclables from their trash. Citations would be the next step. Dan Truttmann will check on procedures for issuing and collecting citations and report back next month.
  4. Driveway Refund– David Laurent- Steve Hermanson move to approve a driveway refund to David Laurent, Steve Hermanson 2nd. Motion carried. $1000.00 will be refunded.

Adjournment– Steve Hermanson move to adjourn the meeting, Dan Truttmann 2nd. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:00 P.M.
