Plan Commission Monthly Board Meeting
Wednesday, April 6th, 2016

The April meeting of the York Township Plan Commission was called to order by Linda Yates, acting chairman. The meeting had been posted at the Town Hall and on the Township website. Curt Moen arrived shortly after the meeting began. Other members present were Brian Bubenzer, Marselino Miranda, and Terri Nipple.
Bubenzer moved to approve the minutes as read. The motion was seconded by Moen and the minutes were approved.
Bubenzer wrote a proposal for updating the Land Division/Development and Transfer ordinance. The Plan Commission reviewed it and made some minor changes in the wording of the proposal. Miranda made a motion to advance the proposal to the Town Board, seconded by Moen. Motion passed. Bubenzer will type it up and send it to Nipple who will then advance it to the board prior to their April meeting.
A general discussion of the Land Division/Development and Transfer ordinance led to a discussion regarding the requirement that a landowner must own a piece of land for 5 years before land division occurs.
Bubenzer reported that he will be meeting with Dawn and Heidi regarding updating the data base. Nipple will review previous minutes to remind Bubenzer which residents need to have corrections made on the data base.
The members of the Plan Commission briefly discussed the CAFO issue. No one from the RLCC was present to provide any new information.
Yates called for a motion to adjourn. Moen made a motion, seconded by Bubenzer. The meeting was adjourned at 9:05 P.M.
The next meeting of the York Township Plan Commission will be May 3, 2016.
