Plan Commission Monthly Board Meeting

8 p.m.
The April meeting of the York Township Plan Commission was called to order by Chairman Curt Moen at 8:28 P.M. Moen verified that the meeting was posted on the York Township website and at the York Town Hall. The meeting night was changed from Tuesday to Wednesday due to the Spring Election. Roll call was taken with Moen, Marselino Miranda, Linda Yates and Terri Nipple present. There were no other attendees at this meeting.
The minutes of the February 6, 2018 meeting were read. Miranda motioned to accept meeting minutes as read. Yates seconded the motion. The minutes were approved. There was no Plan Commission meeting held in March.
Old Business:
Moen reported that York Town Board Chairman Dan Reeson told him that action will be taken regarding the proposed York Township Animals Facilities Siting Ordinance at the next Town Board meeting to be held on April 10.
Moen has also learned that currently a bridge inspector is inspecting bridges in York Township. Moen asked Reeson if he could get some bridge specifications from the inspector to be used in writing a Private Water Crossing Ordinance. Moen has not received a response to the request.
New Business:
Miranda had been on the Township Website recently and noted that it needs updating. The posting sites for Plan Commission meetings is incorrect. Also the Plan Commission membership information is incomplete.
The next meeting will be held on May 1, 2018. Miranda requested that the meeting be adjourned. Motion was seconded by Yates. Moen adjourned the meeting at 9:00 P.M.
