Minutes of the York Township Plan Commission Meeting, Tuesday May 4, 2021
The May 4, 2021, meeting of the York Township Plan Commission was called to order by Zoom/Video conference at 7:02 p.m. by Chair Bethany Storm. Storm verified that the meeting was legally posted on the Townofyork.org website and at the York Town Hall.
Roll call was taken by Cyndi Brown, Plan Commission Secretary. Members in attendance via zoom were Bethany Storm, Linda Yates, Terri Nipple, Cyndi Brown, Arlo Paust. Others in attendance via zoom: Dana Olson.
The secretary’s report of the April 7, 2021, meeting read by Brown. Yates moved to approve the minutes, seconded by Paust. The motion passed.
New Business:
1)Land transfer-Dana Olson-Trustee representing Carol E. Fredrich Revocable Living Trust in attendance via zoom-with seven (7) dwelling units allotted for transfer.CSM#5391-Sec 14 (parcel#2303202941100) (parcel#2303202922300) (parcel#2303202901000).
44.13 acres South of County A. Sold to: Frenchtown Farms, LLC with zero (0) dwelling unit remaining. Land intended use Ag/farm. Motion made by Paust to advance the transfer to York Town Board for approval. Yates seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Update from Plan Commission Chair:
– Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission the developer of Town of York Comprehensive Plan. Inquires: services currently offered, processes of current planning and development, and charges for any services, analysis, and updates. Information on inquires will be forwarded.
-NGO (non-governmental organizations) that work with government re: civil issues, house planning, and grants.
-Land inquires on Sawmill Rd, and Kuenzi Lane.
Old Business: Town of York Comprehensive Plan review. Chapter five (5) Transportation reviewed. Discussions continue to be informative, and the commission will continue chapter by chapter each meeting.
