Town of York
Plan Commission Meeting
December 4, 2018

There was no meeting of the York Township Plan Commission in January of 2019.

Curt Moen, Plan Commission Chairman, called the December 4 meeting to order at 8:02 P.M. He verified that the meeting had been legally posted at the York Town Hall and on the township website. Plan Commission members in attendance were Moen, Marselino Miranda, Bethany Storm, Linda Yates, and Terri Nipple. Also in attendance were Todd and Kris Hasse and Tim Czerwonka, a member of the York Town Board.

The minutes of the previous meeting held on November 7, 2018 were read. Miranda moved to approve the minutes as read, seconded by Yates. The minutes were approved.

New Business

Todd Hasse (Hasse surveying LLC) approached the Plan Commission representing Carol Friedrich Revocable Living Trust (Dana Olson, Personal Representative) with a land division proposal. The land division includes 9.23 acres, a house and 2 dwelling unit allotments. The remaining 12 dwelling unit allotments will stay with the remaining acreage in the estate of Carol Friedrich. Storm made a motion to approve the land division from land in section 14, part of parcel #’s 23-032-0290.0, 0291.0, 0292.0, and 0294.0. Miranda seconded the motion. The motion was approved by the Plan Commission.

Tim Czerwonka was present to discuss questions and concerns regarding technological issues for Dawn Doran posting updates on the Dwelling Unit Allotment Data Base, which is posted on townofyork.org. He has plans to meet with Doran on December 12 after work. Moen clarified that dwelling units must be attached to a tax parcel. Dwelling Units will be attached to the landowner whose name is on the tax bill.

Moen asked the Plan Commission if there were any objections to starting our meetings at 7:00 P.M. Although no formal motion was made, the Plan Commission agreed to change it, at least for the present time.

Old Business

In Old Business, Moen updated the Plan Commission with information that the Peterson proposal was approved by the Town Board. He also stated that Hasse Surveying will be returning with more transactions in the near future.

A revision of the Preliminary Parcel Division/Transfer Inquiry Form was presented by Plan Commission Secretary, Terri Nipple. Storm made a motion to approve the revisions on the form, seconded by Yates. Motion passed. The revised form will be forwarded to the Town Board for approval and future use.

Moen also reported that there is a public hearing for a private campground in the Town of York. It will be held on December 19, 2018. Local landowners affected by the proposal have been notified.

The date for the next meeting was set for Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 7 p.m. Miranda made a motion to adjourn at 9:25 p.m. seconded by Storm. The meeting was adjourned by Chairman Moen.

(Respectfully submitted by Terri Nipple, Plan Commission Secretary).
