Minutes of York Township Plan Commission-
July 1, 2014
York Town Hall
The July 1, 2014 meeting of the York Township Plan Commission was called to order by Curt Moen, Chairman at 8:06 P.M. Present at the meeting were Curt Moen, Marselino Miranda, and Terri Nipple. Also attending the meeting was Dan Truttmann and Donald and Gabriele Ferguson. Heidi Hankley joined the group at 8:15 P.M.
The minutes of the June meeting were read by Terri Nipple. Miranda moved to accept the minutes as read. Moen seconded the motion and the minutes were approved.
Donald and Gabriele Ferguson approached the PC with some questions regarding a land division that they are considering. The PC advised them to check to see if there is a Certified Survey Map (CSM) for their property. They were also advised that they have two (2) dwelling unit allotments. They can divide as they wish as long as they meet minimum requirements for lot size. The Ferguson’s were told that they must come before the PC with a CSM in order for a division to be forwarded to the Town Board for approval.
A letter to the residents of the Town of York has been previously worked on by the PC. The letter contains an announcement of the availability of a data base and maps on the York Township website. This information pertains to the number of dwelling unit allotments each land owner has been allotted as spelled out in the Land Division and Development Ordinance (#10-4). The PC did a final review of said letter. A motion was made by Miranda and seconded by Hankley to submit the letter to the York Town Board for approval. The motion passed and the letter will move forward.
The PC and Dan Truttmann discussed some points regarding the Land Division and Development Ordinance revision that should be reviewed further by the Town Board.
Some of this discussion reminded Moen to tell Truttmann to make sure that Dan Reeson has gotten a copy of the CSM regarding a recent land division of property owned by Evan Lemenager.
Revisions were made on two forms from said ordinance to be used when there is a land division or transfer. These forms were also forwarded for the Town Board’s review and approval.
Hankley reported that the town clerk has labels ready to use when the letter is mailed. The PC will plan on putting labels on the mailing at the next meeting. The next meeting will be August 5, 2014. A motion was made by Miranda to adjourn. Hankley seconded the motion and Moen adjourned the meeting at 9:30 P.M.
