Town of York Plan Commission
Tuesday, June 4, 2013

The June 4, 2013 meeting of the York Township Plan Commission was called to order at 8:05 P.M. by Curt Moen, President. In attendance were Curt Moen, Heidi Hankley, Todd Larson and Brian Bubenzer. The secretary’s report was read. Minutes were approved with corrections.

Heidi indicated that her husband Chip is close to resolving the GIS issues previously discussed relevant to the parcel tracking database. They both envision that he will come up with a list of roughly thirty specific data anomalies to be resolved, which it is anticipated will be presented to the Commission at its July meeting. On the basis of initial discussion, the Commission expects the said anomalies to fall into perhaps a half dozen categories.

For each of these categories, once identified, the Commission intends to propose a solution to the Town Board for approval, prior to public notice and finalization of the parcel tracking database.

Curt brought forth a query he had received regarding the minimum county-mandated size for a single residence lot (the site in question is located on Highway H, and falls into both Lafayette and Green counties). Following discussion by the Plan Commission, they concluded that the PC would be pleased to advise the party concerned on the issue of density units; however, as regards to the county-mandated size of her lot, Curt would advise her to contact the county directly.

The next meeting of the York Township Plan Commission
will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2013.

The meeting adjourned at 8:40 P.M.

Respectfully submitted by Terri Nipple (from notes taken by Todd Larson.)
