Hankley, Todd Larson, Brian Bubenzer and Terri Nipple. The secretary report was read by Terri Nipple. Bubenzer moved to accept the minutes, seconded by Hankley. Minutes were approved as read.

A letter written by Bubenzer for the purpose of informing the landowners in York Township of the new Parcel Tracking Database and the plan to post it on the York Township Website was reviewed and revised. Hankley made a motion to approve the letter as revised and forward it to the York Town Board to be included on the agenda for their November board meeting. Larson seconded the motion and the motion was approved. Hankley will contact Town Clerk, Nancy Anderson regarding putting it on the November agenda.

Larson and Hankley have been reviewing and working on a revision of the most recent ordinance regarding land division. It is being revised to reflect not only land division but also land transfer. This will be accomplished by adding a new paragraph after paragraph 7 in the ordinance and integrating other minor changes suggested by Larson and Hankley. Nipple plans to type the ordinance in “track changes” to be reviewed and approved at the December PC meeting.

The plan to post the Tracking Data Base on the website opened the door to a discussion about the website. The PC has several concerns about the “effectiveness” and “user friendliness” of the Township website. Discussion followed. Hankley will present recommended changes and concerns on behalf of the PC to the York Town Board to be heard at their November meeting. The PC thanks Hankley and Bubenzer for their recommended changes to the website.

Hankley made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Bubenzer. The meeting was adjourned at 9:27 P.M.

The next meeting of the PC will be on December 3, 2013.

Respectfully submitted by Terri Nipple, PC secretary.
