was taken: In attendance were: Heidi Hankley, Todd Larson, Terri Nipple and Curt Moen.

The minutes of the last meeting held September 4, 2012 were read. Todd Larson moved to approve the minutes. Heidi seconded the motion and the minutes of the September meeting were approved.

Heidi reported that she attended the last York Town Board meeting. She learned that neither Green County or our local town board is moving on Farmland Preservation. The York Town Board recommends waiting until the county board moves on Farmland Preservation. The Plan Commission agrees with waiting to see what the county does regarding Farmland Preservation. (The Plan Commission is interested in what the county does about Farmland Preservation because if Farmland Preservation is adopted by Green County, we may be able to tap into some of the data to help with tracking of land parcels).

2012 Plan Commission Handbooks previously ordered by Town Clerk, Nancy Anderson were presented. One copy has been left in the Town Hall. Terri Nipple, Secretary, has the other one.

Heidi reported that she sent information to the York Town Board and York Plan Commission informing them that the enrollment period for submitting application to establish an Agricultural Enterprise Area in now open for the next several months. A brief discussion by the plan commission about the purpose of an Agricultural Enterprise Area was held. No further action was taken.

It was determined that the next regular scheduled meeting date of the York Plan Commission will fall on Election Day. The meeting date was moved to Wednesday, November 7, 2012.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Heidi Hankley and seconded by Todd Larson. The meeting was adjourned by Curt Moen at 8:50 P.M.

Respectfully submitted by Terri Nipple, Secretary.
