Rural Land Commission Committee Meeting Minutes
Monday, January 4th, 2016
1:00 P.M.

The January 4, 2016 meeting of Rural Lands Conservation Committee (RLCC) was called to order by Nana Schowalter at 1:00 PM. Roll call was taken with Nana Schowalter, April Prusia, Dan Truttmann, Bob Bergman and Bethany Storm all present. No meeting minutes were read as this was the first official meeting of this committee.

Old Business

  1. N/A

New Business

  1. Storm made a motion to elect Nana Schowalter as Chairperson of the Rural Lands Conservation Committee. Motion was seconded by Bergman. Motion approved.
  2. Bergman made a motion to elect Bethany Storm as Secretary of the Rural Lands Conservation Committee. Motion was seconded by Schowalter. Motion approved.
  3. Schowalter reported a conversation with Nancy Anderson, Town Clerk, regarding the placement of the Rural Lands Conservation Committee link on the website for minutes and agendas.
  4. The committee discussed the Moratorium on Livestock Facilities Ordinance. Truttman made a motion to accept the latest version and bring it before the Plan Commission’s January Meeting on January 5, 2016. Motion was seconded by Bergman. Motion approved.

Truttman made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Bergman. Meeting adjourned at 2:00 PM by Chairperson Schowalter.

The next meeting of the Rural Lands Conservation Committee will be February 1, 2016.
