Regular Monthly Board Meeting
Tuesday, August 8, 2017

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. Present were Chairman Dan Reeson, 1st Supervisor Tim Czerwonka, 2nd Supervisor Steve Hermanson, Treasurer Ann Carlson, and Clerk Nancy Anderson, along with Nana Schowalter, and Bill and Meg Pokorney. Verification of Proper Notice was given. After a minor correction to the July 11, 2017 Board minutes, Steve Hermanson move to approve the minutes, and Tim Czerwonka 2 nd the motion. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report– Ann noted that the Town received its quarterly State Transportation Aids payment in the amount of $22,664.08, Shared Revenue of $1077.93, and Reimbursement for Bridge Repairs of $999.34.

Bills-Nancy presented the bills to be paid. Dan Reeson move to approve the bills, Tim Czerwonka 2nd the motion. Motion carried.

Patrolman’s Report– Wayne has begun grading in some areas. Buckeye Road will need some tree trimming.

Plan Commission– There still appears to be a problem for Dawn to access our website for parcel database updates. Steve will call both Chip Hankley and Dawn Doran in an attempt to have them work out a solution as to the best way for Dawn to complete her online work.

Rural Land Commission Committee– Livestock Siting Ordinance- Dan Reeson had twice attempted to reach our lawyer without any luck. Nana Schowalter told the Board that she would be willing to find a suitable lawyer to contract with and review this type of ordinance before holding a public hearing on the matter.

Public Comments-No comments.

Old Business

  • Snow Plowing Contractors– Scott Busch is the only name located so far for Town residents to hire for snow plowing. Hopefully a few others can be located.

New Business

  • Annual Newsletter– Carrie Czerwonka said she would be willing to prepare the annual newsletter. The deadline for submitting news articles is Tuesday, October 10th.

Adjournment– Steve Hermanson move to adjourn the meeting, Tim Czerwonka 2 nd the motion. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:55 P.M.
