Town Board Special Meeting
Monday, October 3, 2022
Please Note: These Town Board meeting minutes are posted as draft-only to inform town residents of the topics addressed at the board meeting. These minutes are subject to review and possible revision at next month’s Town Board meeting and should not be considered official until they receive final board approval at that time.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm. The meeting was held as a video conference on Zoom due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Chairman Dan Truttmann, 1st Supervisor April Prusia, 2nd Supervisor Travis Leonard, and Clerk-Treasurer Jessie Schlumpf were present. Verification of proper notice was given.
Public Comment- Residents questioned the process, including the criteria for which lanes to discontinue (difficulty for patrolman, length, safety concerns, no dairy operation, no residence, expense incurred vs. transportation aid received, etc.), why not all lanes.
Business Items-
Discontinuance of Marks Lane- April Prusia moved to adopt the resolution to discontinue Marks Lane; second by Dan Truttmann. Motion carried.
Discontinuance of Fjelstad Lane- Dan Truttmann moved to adopt the resolution to discontinue Fjelstad Lane; second by Travis Leonard. Motion carried.
Discontinuance of Jeglum Lane, Larry’s Lane, Klosterman Lane- No action was taken by the Board on Jeglum Lane, Larry’s Lane, or Klosterman Lane.
Ad for Clerk-Treasurer position- The Board will create and place an ad in area newspapers, as well as posting at the Town Hall, on the website, and at area grocery stores, hardware store, Facebook, etc.
Adjournment- Travis Leonard moved to adjourn; second by April Prusia. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:49 pm.
