Town of York
Annual Meeting
Tuesday, April 17, 2018

Call to Order/Roll Call– The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. Present were Chairman Dan Reeson, 1st Supervisor Tim Czerwonka, 2nd Supervisor Steve Hermanson, Treasurer Ann Carlson, Clerk Nancy Anderson, and concerned citizen Todd Larson.

Minutes of 2017 Annual Meeting– Nancy read the minutes of last year’s annual meeting. Since there were no additions or corrections, Steve Hermanson moved to approve the minutes, Ann Carlson 2nd the motion. Motion carried.

Present Annual Financial Reports– Ann informed the Board that we ended 2017 with a healthy net income, due in part to having part time rather than fulltime patrolmen, wisely managing annual road upkeep, and lower fuel bills because of fewer snowfalls needing to be plowed.

Old Business

  • Dan Reeson thanked Travis Leonard and Steve Hermanson for a good job of plowing snow on Town roads and applying gravel to gravel roads when they were too soft for actual plowing. Todd Larson praised the Town Board for all their good work and service to our community.

New Business

  • The Board is considering paying off the new truck and trading in the old International truck for something new or newer. The old truck is showing its age, constantly needing repairs. That will be discussed at our May meeting.

Schedule 2019 Annual Meeting– Ann moved to schedule the next Annual meeting for April 19, 2019 at 8:00 P.M., Steve Hermanson 2nd the motion. Motion carried.

Adjournment– Steve Hermanson moved to adjourn the meeting, Tim Czerwonka 2nd the motion. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:20 P.M.

Respectfully submitted,
Nancy Anderson, Clerk
