Regular Monthly Board Meeting
Tuesday, June 14th, 2011
The meeting was called to order at 8:05 P.M. Present were Chairman Dan Reeson, 1st Supervisor Dan Truttmann, 2nd Supervisor Steve Hermanson, Treasurer Ann Carlson and Clerk Nancy Anderson along with Marcelino Miranda, Jr. who was sworn into office for the Rural Land Conservation Committee. Verification of proper notice was given. Dan Truttmann move to approve the May, 2011 minutes, Steve Hermanson 2nd. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report- Ann Carlson presented the Profit and Loss Budget versus Actual which was reviewed by the board. Dan Truttmann asked Ann to include a column with just the activity for the prior month on future reports.
Bills- Wayne presented bills from East Side Farm Equipment $298.77, New Glarus Lumber $812.19, and Kranig Excavating, Inc. $125.22. Dan Reeson move to pay bills, Steve Hermanson 2nd. Motion carried.
Patrolman’s Report- Wayne is still cleaning up after the recent thunderstorm and is having trouble with the engine speed on the tractor. The sensor has been changed. Wayne presented a quote from Monroe Truck Equipment to refurbish the IH truck for around $2900. Wayne will get another quote. Jane Mitton wants her fence to be replaced after work on her ditch has been completed, but it is on the Town right-of-way. Before and after pictures will be taken. Other things needing work are the roof on the Town Hall, the metal garage needs repair and a new side door, plus Wayne would like to have a shop built into the garage. A list of materials is needed before bids can be advertised for this work.
Plan Commission- RLCC meeting times- The Committee should meet only if there is something to discuss. At present, there is limited activity for this group.
Public Comments- Dan Reeson received notice about bridge repairs/Riprap on the NW corner near Steve Hermanson’s farm. The Town may have to hire the County to do this work. Dan Reeson will talk to Jeff Wunchell. Also, any future bridge inspections will cost $15.00 per bridge. Dan Truttmann noted there are noxious weeds somewhere on or near the Carol Friedrich farm.

New Business
Polling Place Accessibility- The Gov’t Accountability Board is requiring the Town to improve its handicapped accessibility parking and also Ward signage. Nancy will order a new handicapped parking sign to be placed at the top of the driveway, and another map will be displayed in the Town Hall at elections.
Driveway Permit- John Mueller (Gould Hill Rd.)- Dan Reeson move to approve a driveway permit for John Mueller ($1800.00) contingent upon the driveway actually being in the Town of York, Dan Truttmann 2nd. Motion carried. If it is not in York, a permit will not be needed.
Resolution Redistricting- Dan Truttmann resolves to approve the Redistricting of Ward I, Steve Hermanson 2nd. Motion carried. The resolution was signed by the Town Chairman and Clerk, and will be mailed to the County.
Jim Klassy Driveway Refund- This driveway is not completed and therefore the refund is denied. Steve Hermanson move to approve a driveway refund for Brad Brookins ($1500.00), Dan Truttmann 2nd. Motion carried. Dan Truttmann move to approve a driveway refund for New Horizons ($1200.00), Dan Reeson 2nd. Motion carried.
