Green County has started converting to Badger Books, the electronic poll book system!
Your Town of York Clerk and Election Officials have been training on this new system for several months and will be ready to implement at the upcoming April 7, 2026 Spring Election. Badger Books will aid in accuracy and be more efficient for voters and Election Officials alike. It replaces the former paper poll books with a monitor to sign, provides a faster method to register, is secure/independent from the internet, and helps to confirm your data on Election Day. Everything remains the same for using a paper ballot and casting your ballot into the tabulator machine. Even though CHANGE may be challenging or even scary for some, we are working hard to retain your confidence in the process and in your Election Officials here in York!
