Minutes of Special Board Meeting
Thursday, October 1, 2026
The meeting was called to order by Dan Truttmann at 9:05am. The meeting was held via video conference on Zoom and in person. Chairman Dan Truttmann, 1st Supervisor Travis Leonard, 2nd Supervisor Aaron Gifford, and Clerk-Treasurer Brenda Hackbart were present. Verification of proper notice was given.
Public Comment: none (Greg Erickson joined late via zoom; confirmed no comments)
Business Items:
- Approved date for Special Town Elector Meeting: Discussion on outstanding items expected to arrive prior to 10/22 proposed meeting date; confirming appraisal received. Clerk explained timing constraints for proposed meeting due to upcoming election, Public Test of equipment, meeting notice deadlines/requirements; and confirmed working with Dept of Revenue on requirements for Levy Limit worksheet. Board requested additional notice posted at Recycling Center for added visibility. Motion made by Dan Truttmann to schedule public hearing (if needed), special town elector meeting and special town board meeting consecutively for October 22, 2026, starting at 7pm for the purpose of purchasing property located at N8131 Postville Rd, Blanchardville, WI; second by Aaron Gifford. Motion carried.
Adjournment: Travis Leonard made motion to adjourn; second by Aaron Gifford. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:23am.
