Town of York Plan Commission Regular Meeting Minutes
August 5, 2026 7:00 PM (CST)
Town of York In-Person
Call to Order: Chair John Knicker called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
Roll Call: Dan Truttmann, John Knicker, Jessica Peterson, and April Prusia. Charlie Umhoeffer was absent.
Verification of Proper Notice: Agenda was posted on website and on Town Hall memo board.
Public Comment: None.
Review of July 1, 2026, Plan Commission Meeting Minutes.
Motion: Dan Truttmann moved to approve the minutes; seconded by April Prusia. Motion carried.
Business Items:
- Thompson Conceptual Plan
Gary and Linda Thompson own 217 acres, including parcel 2303207320000 and are looking to separate 2-3 acres to gift to Tyler Wulfekuhle. Next steps are to submit a conceptual plan to the PC per Ordinance 11.A. (2).
- Green County Holdings Dwelling Unit Transfer
Green County Holdings (John and Laurel Shea) own parcels 2303201480000, 2303201640000 and 2303201650000 with 7 dwelling units and submitted a request to transfer 4 dwelling units to parcel 2303201460000 (Nate Hanke), which eliminates 60 acres of parcel area.
Motion: Dan Truttmann moved to recommend approval to the Town of York board. Second by April Prusia. Vote carried.
- PC discussed draft application and fee schedule for implementation of the Town of York Subdivision and Platting Ordinance.
- The next Plan Commission meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 7:00 pm.
