Town of York Plan Commission Regular Meeting Minutes
June 8, 2026 7:00 PM (CST)
Town of York In-Person
Call to Order: Chair John Knicker called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m.
Roll Call: Dan Truttmann, John Knicker, Jessica Peterson, April Prusia and Charlie Umhoeffer.
Verification of Proper Notice: Agenda was posted on website and on Town Hall memo board.
Review of May 6, 2026, Plan Commission Meeting Minutes.
Motion: Dan Truttmann moved to approve the minutes; seconded by John Knicker. Motion carried.
Business Items:
- Robert Schaefer Parcel Division Request
- Robert Schaefer plans to split 5.04 acre from Parcel 230320187000, N8824 Hay Hollow Rd to Jacob Schaefer to build a home. Next steps: contract surveyor and draft CSM.
- Land Division Ordinance
- Tim from Vierbicher was in attendance to discuss the revised ordinance, DUA database updates, and their role in reviewing future land division requests.
- Plan Commission discussed responsibilities and next steps:
- Draft Process Outline/Application Outline
- Draft Fee Schedule
- Detail plan to update DUA Database
- The next Plan Commission meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 7:00 pm.
