The public hearing was called to order at 8:00 P.M. On the agenda were amendments to two ordinances – the Driveway Ordinance and a Resolution and Ordinance to raise dog tax.
Item (i) under General Provisions of the Driveway Ordinance will be added. It states that, “a request for a refund of the refundable portion of the driveway permit must be made to the Town Board within two years from the approval date of the driveway permit application or forfeit the refund”. In addition, a checklist sequencing all the steps from applying for a driveway permit to requesting a final driveway inspection will also be added.
The Resolution and Ordinance to raise dog tax will be made permanent beginning January 1, 2012 until such time as the ordinance is either replaced or repealed. There was little discussion, so Dan Reeson move to adjourn the hearing and Todd Larson 2nd. Motion carried.
